About Shri Manimahesh Yatra

Officially, the Shri Manimahesh Yatra is observed from Janmashtami to Radhashtami. The traditional pilgrimage begins from Bharmour, where devotees first seek blessings at the historic Chaurasi Temple Complex and Bharmani Mata Temple before proceeding towards Hadsar.

The sacred trekking route follows:

Bharmour → Hadsar → Dunali → Dhancho → Sundrashi → Gauri Kund → Manimahesh Lake

During the official Yatra period, the Chamba District Administration deploys medical teams, rescue personnel, police, and 24-hour control rooms at Bharmour, Dhancho, and Manimahesh Lake to ensure the safety of pilgrims.
