Helicopter Services for Manimahesh Yatra 2025
The much-anticipated Manimahesh Yatra by helicopter will commence on 9th August 2025 and continue till 2nd September 2025, providing pilgrims with a swift and comfortable travel option to the sacred Manimahesh Lake in Himachal Pradesh.
Important Note:
We do not conduct or book helicopter tickets for the yatra. Pilgrims are strongly advised to book tickets only through the official portal of the Shri Manimahesh Yatra Trust to avoid fraudulent agents and unauthorized bookings.
Authorized Helicopter Operators
As per previous arrangements, two government-approved operators are expected to provide heli services during the 2025 yatra season:

- Rajas Aerosports and Adventures Pvt. Ltd.
These operators are selected by the government to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable transport between Bharmour and Gauri Kund, which is the closest aerial drop point to Manimahesh Lake.

Flight Duration & Final Trek
The helicopter journey from Bharmour to Gauri Kund takes approximately 8 minutes, offering a breathtaking aerial view of the Pir Panjal range. From Gauri Kund, pilgrims must undertake a 1-kilometer uphill trek to reach the holy Manimahesh Lake, situated at an altitude of approximately 13,500 feet.

Helicopter flight is available from Bharmour to Gaurikund and return. Manimahesh Lake is at a walking distance of 1 km from Gaurikund. Helicopter flight takes only 8 minutes from Bharmour to Gauri kund (Manimahesh) by helicopter. Tickets can be booked according to desired period of stay at Bharmour or Manimahesh. Manimahesh Yatra is popular for taking holy bath in manimahesh lake, Manimahesh Kailash Darshan, Manimahesh Mani Darshan and Manimahesh Jyot Darshan. Official period of Manimahesh Yatra is from Janamashtami to Radhashtami but Pilgrims/tourists start visiting Manimahesh from May and keep on visiting until October. Best period to Visit Manimahesh is from June to Septemeber. Helicopter service is available only during official period of Manimahesh Yatra i.e. Janamashtami to Radhashtami.
