Every year 6-7 lakhs of pligrims visit manimahesh kailash to take Lord shiva's blessings. Number of pilgrims who visited Manimahesh in 2013 was significantly low due to fear of what happened during Kedarnath. However there was heavy rush of pilgrims visiting manimahesh in 2014. Crowd at Bharmour during manimahesh yatra was so overwhelming that there was huge traffic congestion and some time it took more than 3-4 hours for vehicles to move a km around Bharmour. During Jamaashtami in 2014, Bharmour was so crowded that few people didn't even get place to sleep and food to eat. Large number of people had to sleep in the vehicles and some spent the night searching for a place to sleep. Weather remained mostly well during Manimahesh Yatra in 2013 and people didn't face any difficulties in Yatra. Weather in October was very good at Bharmour and Manimahesh. Many pilgrims visited manimahesh in month of October and were very satisfied with the ease of Yatra during this period.
