Day 1: Arrival in Bharmour

Upon your arrival in Bharmour, you’ll be welcomed at Hotel Bharmour View, located in the heart of Bharmour. After a brief refreshment and check-in, you can relax at the hotel. In the evening, we’ll take you to the 84 Chaurasi Temple complex for the evening worship (Aarti) and then return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Bharmour – Bharmani Temple – Bharmour

We’ll begin the day with a visit to the Bharmani Mata temple, which is situated 4 km from Bharmour on a ridge, offering beautiful mountain views. According to legend, Bharmour is named after Bharmani Devi. The trip to Bharmani Temple will take you through Via Taxi. Visitors can take a dip in the holy Bharmani Devi pool, although the water is quite cold. After a spending some time there, return to Bharmour.

Day 3: Bharmour – Hadsar – Kugti Village

We’ll start the day with a 23 km jeep ride from Bharmour to Lahal, followed by 1 km trek to Kugti Village. Spend the night.

Day 4: Kugti – Kartik Temple – Dalotu

Manimahesh Parikrama Trek starts with a trek of 12 km from Kugti to Kartik Temple and back to Kugti. Kartik Temple is dedicated to the elder son of Lord Shiva and is located in a picturesque setting with breathtaking mountain views. This trek includes a mix of strenuous and gradual trails. After exploring Kartik Temple, we’ll trek to Dalotu and spend the night there.

Day 5: Kugti – Hanuman Shila

We’ll embark on a 14 km trek from Kugti to Alyas Base Camp, which features steep and gradual trails. Part of the trek follows the banks of the Budhil River, with occasional steep climbs. After traversing a beautiful ridge, we’ll reach Hanuman Shila, where we’ll rest and spend the night.

Day 6: Hanuman Shila – Manimahesh Lake

Today’s trek covers a distance of 12 km from Alyas to Manimahesh Lake. Trekking on this day will depend on weather conditions and the physical condition of the trekkers. Safety is a priority, so in case of unfavorable weather, we’ll wait for clear skies before proceeding. The trek includes sections over glaciers before reaching the pristine Manimahesh Lake, where we’ll spend the night.

Day 7: Manimahesh – Dhancho – Hadsar – Bharmour

From Manimahesh, we’ll trek 6 km to Dhancho and then to Hadsar. This relatively short trek can be completed in a few hours, and from Hadsar, we’ll arrange transportation to take you back to Bharmour for relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 8: Departure from Bharmour

On the final day of Manimahesh Parikrama Trek, you’ll depart from Bharmour, concluding this unforgettable journey through the stunning landscapes and sacred sites of the Manimahesh Parikrama trek.

What to carry for Manimahesh Parikrama Trek?

  1. Backpack: A sturdy and comfortable backpack with enough capacity for your trek duration.
  2. Clothing:
    • Thermal wear.
    • Waterproof and windproof jacket and pants.
    • Extra underwear and socks (preferably wool or synthetic).
    • Hat, gloves, and scarf for cold weather.
    • Sun hat or cap for sunny days.
  3. Footwear:
    • Good quality hiking boots or shoes, broken in before the trek.

    • If you have heart problem, high blood pressure or if your weight is more then its good to carry necessary medicines which can help you if you have problems at high altitude.
